The death benefit is €5,000. The conditions for the Death Benefit are that a person is a member and has been a member for 12 months at the time of death.

In order to process a claim for Death in Service Benefit, the claimant should forward a certified copy of the Birth Certificate, Death Certificate and the name and address of the next of kin in respect of the deceased member to George Maybury at Pseu Head office. Arrangements will then be made with Marsh Ireland and Friends First to make the payment.
